CREW OF THE AGAGMEMNON - WHO'S WHO

Captain Jack Rackham EN - Commander of the Heavy Cruiser ESS Agamemnon, formerly home to the 130th Regiment. (now temporary home to the 256th Regiment)

Captain Rackham is one of the Empire's finest naval officers, with a reputation for fairness towards his friends and ruthlessness towards his enemies. Not an officer to suffer fools at all, his somewhat robust attitude to bureaucrats and timeservers has made his promotion slower than his abilities and record might suggest.  Rackham is very likely to be promoted to Admiral within the next five years.

Hobbies include Scottish country dancing, fine art appreciation and classic music of the 20th century.

Commander Magellan EN ("Mags") - Chief Navigation Officer, ESS Agamemnon (Peter Howland)
Chief Petty Officer Nunkee, Ship's chief robot technician, ESS Agamemnon. (Jerry Elsmore)

CPO Nunkee is a career Naval rating.  Promotion to Lieutenant has been on the cards many times, but a shaky concept of subordniation, and a flexible attitude to ownership has ensured that Nunkee remained a top notch nco rather than an officer.  Served aboard the ESS Cartimandua as an ordinary tech, on the ESS Boudicca and ESS Ho Chi Minh as a PO Tech, and five years as as a CPO Senior Instructor in Naval Robot Tech Central Academy (Earth).  Posted to the Agamemnon on the request of the current Captain Rackham, which rumour has it, saved Nunkee from a fairly serious investigation from the Imperial Auditors over course expenses.

Awarded a bravery medal for his personal actions during the ESS Ho Chi Minh reactor leak incident.

Hobbies:  Recreational drugs, recreational sex, classical rock and roll, recreational gambling and sleeping it off.

Commander Edwina Teach, Exec Officer, ESS Agamemnon (Richard Hands)

Edwina Teach has been one of the Navy's high flyers.  Having made a meteroric careers so far, rising through the ranks to Commander in record time, her current 2 year posting as exec officer to the Agamemnon will almost certainly end in her being given her own ship.

Her hobbies are not listed, but are rumoured to include astronavigation, ship's engineering and weapons doctrine.

LT CDR ECCHS WAS KILLED DURING OPERATION BLACKBERRY

BY VENERIAN MARINES FROM THE LOHENGRIN REGIMENT.

She will be sorely missed by the whole regiment.

Lieutenant Commander Wilma Ecchs EN - OC, Logistics Support Team, 130 EMR

Wilma Ecchs comes from a commercial spacefaring family of no fixed star system and learnt the basics of space trading before joining the Navy as part of a plea-bargain following assault charges. Although she showed some flair as a Pacifier Pilot, she failed to complete the training and was disciplined for dangerous flying and insubordination. She then qualified as a Logistics Tech and as a junior Robot Tech, but failed to make the grade as a Senior Astronaut. Her first and second Lieutenancies were as Damage Control Officers on Carriers. Charged with assaulting her Commander, acquitted. After a spell as a Lt (Logs) in a Destroyer, she received a glowing* recommendation and was promoted to Lt-Cdr in the Aggie. Wilma enjoyed martial arts, needlepoint embroidery and freefall parachuting.
