OP STRAWBERRRY - INFORMATION REQUESTS

>Are there any schematics following the incident?

Yes - image below

>Has there been any contact with the Marine Group forming the Guard force, or any other final communications around/after the time of the incident?

Quite a few (about half) were wounded on the surface - mostly those off duty and not in armour. These have been evacuated and know nothing of use.

Those on duty seem to have perished either in the original blast and subsidiary explosions, or are missing - perhaps they have gone to dig out survivors themselves?

We have been able to get off most of the off duty personnel (around 2/3 or the entire staff). The big problem is that we can't get too close to the various fissures because of radiation intensity, and there are continuing random detonations making rescue by our shuttle personnel exceptionally hazardous. About 1/3 of the base's personnel are unaccounted for, including a number of key scientific personnel who were on duty in the subterranean labs when the incident happened.

>One option might be to stick the entire regiment's complement of combat robots on the surface under direct control to monitor radiation levels and anything like that.

We already tried using recovery robots - the huge radiation energy fluctuations fried them before they could do much good.

>Another option would be to put a group down with some supercharges to quickly break through to the emergency bunkers. We might want to stick another group on the surface to check out all the other buildings and keep the third in reserve with the CSRs just in case.

>We also want to be sure that the defence systems are switched off, either remotely or by PAD.

Currently, all main power is down. The surviving defensive turrets have their own power, but IFF will prevent any of them still operational from firing on our ships or personnel. Certainly they have not fired during initial evacuations. We haven't had time to investigate them fully, but many of their systems will have been wrecked by the radiation pulses, so its highly unlikely that any of them are actually operational.

We know that the underground refuges have their own emergency power systems, but cannot tell if they are operating.

> Are the radiation fluctuations limited to the area used by the research facility? Also are they typical of a reactor leak? Is the level of radiation comparable with that of a radiation grenade, or is it higher/lower? (If the same or lower then we ought to be more or less OK in fissures in marine armour and we can discount them as an obstacle).

The biggest pulses are coming up the main shaft. These vary from radiation grenade levels to PAD levels, randomly and with random period between pulses. These pulses have continued undiminished for several days now.

Minor fissures seem to have lesser pulses, but still hazardous - but we simply don't have any idea of the patterns or likely risk.
