AREA OF OPERATIONS: Anomalous Material Labs, Mesa Moon, Dolha VI.
SITUATION: This is a combat search and rescue operation following an accident in a JOLLY SECRET facility.
Enemy Forces: There are no defined enemy forces but local hazards are assessed as highly dangerous.
Friendly Forces: The 130th Regiment and the ESS Precision Creek Attachments and Detachments: Nil.
Commander's Primary Information Requirements (PIRs) (in priority order):
a. Location of the Anomalous Material Labs Main Control Centre.
b. Location of moving hazards.
c. Location of stationary hazards.
MISSION:
To enter the sub-surface area of the Anomalous Material Labs and recover as many survivors as possible, while maintaining normal security.
EXECUTION:
General Outline: We will secure the surface of the Mesa Moon and the entrances to the Anomalous Material Labs, and establish an enforced quarantine and sickbay, with Group Alpha in a preliminary operation. Groups Bravo and Charlie will then enter the sub-surface areas and effect a rescue. The Command Group will remain on board the ESS Precision Creek to maintain normal security. Force Reserve to consist of Marine Squad C3. Due to the unspecified nature of the hazards and contamination all personnel will be fully armed and wearing combat armour.
Tasks:
Group Alpha: You are to secure the surface of the Mesa Moon in a preliminary operation, with the following priorities:
1. Secure or destroy surface weapons systems.
2. Secure the Main Power Plant, ensuring the capability of cutting power to the surface or sub-surface installations.
3. Secure and evacuate the two habdomes near the Surface Resonance Chamber to act as an enforced quarantine facility and sickbay, with the assistance of the ship's surgeon.
4. Establish a liaison HQ with the local personnel.
5. Secure the entrances to the Main Access Tunnel and Emergency Access Tunnel.
You are to land your force at a location designated by you, using the Light Shuttle and the Cargo Shuttle in a single lift in the first wave. You are authorised to use non-lethal force in order to carry out your mission. When you have secured the surface you are to call forward the main operation.
You will have the Jolly Boat manned by Group Bravo as a reserve under SUPCOM during the preliminary operation, and the Logs Group personnel (less robots) under MISCOM for the entire operation to assist in the sickbay.
Group Bravo: You are my main effort. You are to proceed to the sub-surface labs and recover as many survivors as possible. Your route of entry is to be via the Main Access Tunnel, and you will use the Jolly Boat and act as a reserve in the preliminary operation with the first wave, and using the Cargo Shuttle for the remaining forces in the second wave. You will have the Logs Group robots attached to you for survivor recovery and recce of hazardous areas.
Group Charlie: You are my secondary effort. You are to proceed to the sub-surface labs and recover as many survivors as possible. Your route of entry is to be via the Emergency Access Tunnel, using the Cargo Shuttle in the third wave. You are to embark Section C3 onto the Light Shuttle, following the return of the first wave and it will remain at immediate readiness as the Force Reserve under MISCOM of the Command Group.
Command Group. You are to maintain normal security on board the ESS Precision Creek.
Logs Group. You are to detach the Logs robots to Group Bravo. Remaining personnel are to assist in the sickbay.
ADMINISTRATION:
Combat Supplies: Due to the unspecified nature of the hazards and contamination all personnel will be fully armed and wearing combat armour.
Additional Grenades are to be carried on board each Shuttle (1 x Pallet each). Additional Demolition charges are to be carried on the Cargo shuttle with the second wave (1 x pallets) with an additional 2 x pallets of Grenades and 2 x Pallets of emergency survival suits. In addition emergency survival suits all be carried by all robots.
Transportation: First Wave consisting of 33+14+2 Grenade Pallets (49 pax) to be carried on the Light Shuttle and the Cargo Shuttle (52 pax), and 7 + 1 Grenade Pallet (8 pax) to be carried on the Jolly Boat (8 pax). Second Wave to consist of 26+14+1 Grenade Pallets + 2 Demolition Charge Pallets + 2 emergency survival suits(48 pax) to be carried on the Cargo Shuttle.
Reserve to consist of 9+2+1 Grenade Pallet (12 pax) to be embarked on the Light Shuttle as Force Reserve (12 pax).

COMMAND AND SIGNALS:
Command: Normal command devolves down to the next in line, in the event of casualties. Authority for changes to ROE remains at the rank nominated.
In the event of casualties authority must be granted in person by the next up the chain of command. All orders or instructions from local personnel are to be treated as "Requests from Technically Competent Advisors" and are to be referred to the Command Group if they interfere in any way with the conduct of operations. Non-lethal force is authorised in the event of non-cooperation.
