MSN Defence Research and Development
MSN Defence Research and Development (DRD)
- plans, coordinates and executes the Martan Star Navy (MSN) research programmes in response to guidance from the MSN;
- fosters, supports and conducts research within MSN, university and industry laboratories; and
- ensures transition of research results to support MSN needs.
The focus of DRD is on research into areas that offer significant and comprehensive benefits to MAFC warfighting and peacekeeping capabilities.
These areas are organised and managed in two scientific areas:
The Bradbury Institute for Nanoscience
The Laboratory for Engineering and Autonomous Complex Systems
Visitors
MSN DRD properties are controlled-access facilities. We do not offer public tours or visits to our facilities. Prior arrangments must be made with a DRD point of contact before visiting any facility. You will not be admitted without authorisation, and proper photo identification. Visits by foreign nationals require special processing.
