MAIDS

(Martian Artificial Intelligence Detection Service)

A MAFC organisation that investigates illegal AI development. Regarded as much more hard-line than the multi-lateral Artificial Intelligence Monitoring Service - it nevertheless works with many interstellar bodies, intelligence gathering and reporting to the Martian Government on possible breaches.

As of 3212, the Director General is Carter Mishitak, who has held the post since the inception of MAIDS, and has been "in the business" for over 55 years.
