Imperial Truth Network (ITN)

The Imperial Truth Network is a conspiracy-focused collective that likely originated within the Earth Empire roughly two decades ago. Unlike the satirical bent of Balls of Asteel or the cryptic mysticism of C_Anon, ITN presents itself with the formal tone of an official news agency—complete with grandiose logos, uniformed presenters (often deepfakes), and a bombastic slogan: “Restoring Clarity to the Stars.” Despite this veneer of legitimacy, ITN is widely discredited, known for pushing fantastical and wildly xenophobic theories, often targeting the Sirius Socialist Republic (SSR) as the shadowy puppet master behind most galactic unrest.

Among ITN’s most infamous claims:
- "The Red Hand of Sirius" – A theory that the SSR's leadership is controlled by an immortal cabal of brain-linked clones grown beneath the ice oceans of Gryt.
- "The Mindnet Conspiracy" – ITN alleges that the SSR has infiltrated every major polity through neural implants secretly distributed via free public healthcare programs. According to ITN, over 38% of the New Republic population are already “soft sleeper agents.”
- "Operation Dissonant Choir" – A claim that the SSR is conducting sonic warfare via disguised music streaming platforms to disrupt interstellar morale and increase depression rates in rival polities.
- "The Forged Moon Accord" – ITN insists that the historic SSR-Venerian resource pact on W3 is actually a cover for joint experimentation on alien bio-weapons harvested from Universe N.

ITN also targets other groups—accusing the MAFC of breeding “smart plagues,” or the Centauri Conglomerate of replacing dissident executives with loyal synthetic replicas.

Despite frequent censorship attempts, ITN maintains influence across fringe systems in Quadrant 7 and the outer Earth Empire, feeding off paranoia, nationalism, and a yearning for perceived “imperial greatness.” Followers often believe themselves to be enlightened guardians resisting a galaxy-wide betrayal.
