!Tozawa, Professor Isaki 'Ozzie' Planetary physicist, former professional spaceball player and rock musician. She is famous for many 'pop' science books about planets, their formation and histories. She also has three multi-media albums currently in the Martian charts. Her work in planetary physics is also widely renowned - she has mapped the tectonic patterns of over a dozen entire worlds. [tozawa.jpg] !!Background Born on New Mars, Tozawa spent her early years avoiding formal education. She managed to complete secondary education with little of no formal qualifications, other than how to bend or break the rules. Discovering a talent for spaceball was her big life changing event. Her talent as an amateur player got her noticed by talent scouts from the University of Marsec. Originally going to University on a sports scholarship, she quickly discovered that despite what her teacher had said to her at high school, she was a very quick learner. Planetary physics had a special fascination, and despite a gruelling sports schedule she was able to transfer from the easy ‘Social Philosophy’ course to the much more demanding planetary physics faculty, and studied under the great Martian planetologist Herbert Essen. As she was to say later – “Real Rocks and Rock n’ Roll – they just seemed to go together in my head” Along with leading the University team to victory in the University championships at the Hyperbowl on New Mars in 3188 – she achieved the highest distinction in planetology of any student in the history of Marsec U. After leaving college, she joined the Hyama Hyenas for three seasons and was regarded as one of the most dynamic frontliners they’d ever had. A minor sports injury lead to retirement – as she famously said at the time said “yeah yeah – bin there, done that...”, Tozawa was able to return to her passion for Planetology and has spent the bulk of he academic career to date working with the Martian Planetology Institute on analysing the structures and tectonics of colonial worlds, predicting planetquakes, and working on a new theory of planetary formation. !!Music Career Just conducting ground breaking work on planetology (!) isn’t enough – in her spare time she has also indulged her passion for classical metal music – performing live with her band, ‘Planetcide’ at a wide range of venues, from seedy downtown bars to, yes, the Hyperdome itself. Her tri-v media concept album ‘Big Rock’ sold 1.2 billion million copies across human space. [tozawa01.png] !!Publications Tozama has written several hundred academic journal articles, and many bestselling popular science books: **The Music of the Rocks** – a popular introduction to planetology – adopted as **the** standard work for first year undergraduates in many universities The **Crusty the Rockman** series of children’s books on planets, 23 books including the award winning **Crusty Rolls The Rocks**. **Solid Earth**– a hilarious review of popular misconceptions about planets and how they work. **Journey to the Centre of the World** - a re-examination of myths and legend about planets, with some explanations of how they came about, and debunking of some of the more outrageous ones. **Planets of Fire and Ice** - three volume popular science review of extreme planets around the universe. !!Discology **Out There** (3220) **Roachworld** (Concept album 3217) **Tozawa Rocks the Universe** (Live gig compilation 3215) **Fire in the Pyramid** (3211) **Don't Look Away, Don't Blink** (3208) **Hit Me – Remix** (3204) **Big Rock** (Album) 3202 **Mass Drive** (Album) 3201 **Grab My Engine** (single) 3201 **Flying Ace** (Album) 3200 **Prizefighter** (album) 3198 **Death from Above** (single) 3197 **Speed Queen** (single) 3197 **Live Free And Die** (Album) 3195 **Magma Lover** (single) 3194 **Hit Me** (Album) 3192 **Planetcide** (Album) 3190
