!Supreme Humanity Command A joint headquarters brought into existence as a result of the [Treaty of Old London] (ToOL) (3200). Initially headed by Admiral Musashi of the MSN, it was then commanded by Admiral Hojo MSN after Admiral Musashi's disappearance in deep space not long after his appointment. The headquarters, located on Kumarajuva in Centauri space, operates all the Combined Human Fleets in Q0 and the colonial quadrants. The Supreme Human Commander (SHC) is assisted by a deputy SHC and a committee of senior admirals, one from each signatory power. The only exception is the involvement of the Mald Provost Corps - whilst not a signatory to Tool, Mald warships cooperate closely with TOOL forces and conform to the overall defensive plans within human space. Whilst over the years the original ToOL Treaty has to some degree slipped into abeyance (in particular its implicit arms limitation provisions), the Supreme Humanity Command has remained, and major polities use is as a clearing house for joint operations and looks to it to coordinate alliance operations against Alien Threats. The commander JAC is selected by a Summit of ToOL members in that quadrant and has similar powers and responsibilities to those held by the Supreme Allied Commander in Q0.
