!Qureshi One of [The Twelve] Families of the Solar Republic. The Qureshis are an old Tier Three family who have never been represented as [First Citizen] but who have an extensive private intelligence network and have long been known for breaking embarrassing stories about other families to the press. They have a tendency to ally with the Van Husens. The Qureshi are known to have some familial relationships with the [Wolf359 Commonwealth] Royal Family and strong scientific links with a number of [Maldenite Democratic Foundation] institutions. Much of their influence comes via long established links to [Interstellar Network News] (INN) for whom they have been known to provide funding and sources for political and scientific stories. The Qureshi also have deep links to the [Imperial Audit Office] and commercial links to [Lexcorp] and a number of non-Earth based scientific Corporations, often informally lobbying for these groups. The Qureshis are interested in growth through investment in diplomatic and scientific endeavour rather than military strength.
