K'Grath:  Venerian colony in Q7

Kagemusha Legion. A mercenary special forces unit employed by the Centauri Republic. This group of shadowy warriors specialise in hostage rescue, inflitration and assasination.

Killikrankie. An independent world in Quadrant 1. Member of the Seven Worlds Defence Alliance. Council of State is led by a First Minister. Elected Council is strongly influenced by regional clan-type structures, and a complex interaction between various stakeholders and corporations. Most of the population can be described as neo-scots, who call themselves 'Krankies'. Pretty violent society with limited human rights. Complex politics make major change hard to achieve. Tend only to unite in their dislike of foreigners. Governments tend to be formed by rapidly-changing coalitions. In 3207, the First Minister is Fiona McTavish.

Knights of the Crimson Moon. Fictional militant monastic order. Created by the historical fiction writer, Mal Cordwangler - they are the main protagonists in a series of over 60 adventure novels set in the founding days of the Wolf 359 Commonwealth. As something of an 'in joke' Wolfer officials often refer to the Knights when making reference to anyone heriocially volunteering for a certain-death mission.

Kordon. Independent world in Quadrant Zero. Kordon II is not a very hospotable world, and over the past three centuries there have been many failed attempts to start colonies there. In recent years a new batch of hard colonists have started to build a working colony there. Fiercly independent, they are determined to build a world with minimum help from outside. One of the founder members of the League of Non-Aligned Worlds.

Kree. Independent world in Quadrant Zero. This is a long standing colony, though never very wealthy. Originally formed of settlers from Paradise. It has a longstanding record of poor relations with the neighbouring independent world of Shi'Ar - however this has not prevented it becoming one of the founding members of the League of Non-Aligned Worlds, along with it's old enemy.
