Below are the four key international political issues that affect all the main polities. The tracks below represent the general policy position of the current governments. Changing position can be done by political leaders, but there is a risk of losing internal support through accusations of a policy 'U-Turn'. In some cases, policy shifts can be forced by opposition criticism or a groundswell of public opinion. Too many 'U-turns' can weaken the government's poition internally, and might affect its chances of re-election.

The taxpayer will need to make whatever sacrifies are necessary for their own protection and the survival of the species. | The menace from non-human species is grossly overstated. Much more effort needs to be made to communicate with and understand different species. Neutrality and diplomacy are our best defence - military spending is too much and inflated - scarces taxes should be prioritised on making life better for humanity at home.
