Explanations:
Guard Battalion : An infantry formation which is flexible and lightly armoured with a few supporting heavy weapons. Intended for patrolling and key point security. Typically it is transported in lightly armoured vehicles - usually wheeled, but sometimes tracked, or even amphibious on some worlds.
AIR Support: Basically, units of Pacifier-like combat atmosphere craft designed to operate between low orbit and ground level. A proportion of these are RPV-class robot aircraft. Typcally a division has around 6 of each of these in each AIR battalion.
