The Situation in Quadrant 7 is critical. we have over the past months sent report of the Berserker! invasion that is threatening the colonies, not just of the Sirian SR but also from other powers.
Although we have been able to defeat enemy space ships at some point, we have no indication of the enemy's true strength and in the present condition can expect to be driven back. As the SSSQ7 ar in the frontline this will probably mean the destruction of all our colonies in the quadrant.
Ultra has already been the target of Berserker destruction. We can expect that Evian and F-Luent will be under attack within two months.
It is possible that in a year, all colonies have been lost.In our first encounters we have lost all our capital ships and our defense at the moment depends on the goodwill of our neighbours. To that end we have signed a military alliance with the Eartheners. It is however frustrating to our people that they have no hold on their own future.
therefor we request the mission of several capital ship to defend the colonies in quadrant 7. Typically such a force would consist of 1 or two battleships and several carriers and additional ships. We understand that the Sirian Revolutionary Forces are small and that you need to think of other threats as well, but the very existence of mankind might be at stake. The force we suggested is not enough to stop 2 BSB's together, as you can infer from intelligence material that Rear Admiral Diem Ho Nam is bringing along. But such a force would make a big contribution to the defense of the SSSQ7 in the future against the Berserker threat.
