INTREP ON GRANYT

Further observations on Berserker presence in the Granyt System.

There are at least 6 active VIKING units present in-system, and possibly more.

The main activity is around Granyt IV.  We have detected a major installtion group on the planet.  There are at least 5 large orbital installations in orbit around Granyt IV.  Some evidence exists to suggest at least some of these are heavily armed.

We have not yet detected any ship or station in HSTS mode on the M²⁵ but continue to search

Observation of the planetside installation indicates that it is very exensive (about 4 times the size of ODIN'S SEAT)- around 150km accross.  In the last few days we have started analysis of particle emissions and find an unusually high level of h-neutrinos being emitted from the base.  Inference is that there is an industrial-grade Very High Energy particle accelerator in use.  The only known use for this in human space is in the manufacture of hyperlyinium.

[JIM9000 data note: The only other hyperlynium factories in The Universe are in the Home Systems, since colonies are forbidden them.  As you know, hyperlynium is essential for HSD manufacture].
