Whilst Venerian losses to the Beserkers have been minimal so far it is imperative that we cooperate wholeheartedly with our stellar neighbours under the auspices of the JAC. Our territory may not currently be under attack, but the Venerian people and their armed forces must act to stop the alien attackers before further lives are lost be they Venerian or those of our allies.
With this in mind the Venerian people will be
i) releasing more naval assets to JAC control;
ii) setting up an infrastructure to support as many citizens of other nations whose worlds are closer to the fighting and who have been made homeless who wish to make a home with Venerian support;
iii) making an immediate contribution of assets and personnel to the JAC joint intelligence effort;
iv) offering humanitarian aid\supplies to our neighbours who have suffered losses to the Beserkers.
I myself will be staying on Potomax to co-ordinate the Venerian input to the JAC and the fight against the Beserker menace.
