Fellow humans,
I am sure you are all aware of the grave situation that faces all of us in this sector. I will summarise what I believe to be the salient
points:
1. The 'Exterminator' race appears to be dedicated to the destruction of all human life, and so far has made no distinction as to political
grouping.
2. Exterminator capital ships have proved themselves more than a match for a traditional carrier battle group.
3. Assuming that they are limited by the same hyperspatial laws as us, times and locations of attacks suggest multiple groupings of Exterminator ships in this sector - at least 3 by my calculation. Since they seem to operate in groups of one or two, this means up to 6 Exterminators, with only one confirmed destroyed to date.
4. It is further possible that this is merely an advance guard of a larger fleet.
In view of this, I suggest that a coordination of fleet activites between our nations is of the utmost importance. Even those whose
territory has not yet been threatened must surely see the importance of stopping this threat before it is their colonies that are being
destroyed.
It is therefore suggested, requested if you like, that Zionist, Wolfer, Venerian and Centauri fleet detachments be sent 'eastwards'
to assist Martian, Earther, Esteeler and Sirian units currently in contact with Exterminator units. Smaller nations in particular must see
from the Sirian experience that their navies cannot hope to tackle even one of these ships without external aid. The precise
disposition of how such joint forces might work is of course a matter for further discussion.
For the moment, intelligence is the key. I appeal to Earther, Sirian and Esteeler forces for a joint pooling of all intelligence gathered
already and anything found out in future about Exterminator strengths and locations. In particular, coordination between current Esteeler,
Earther and Martian fleet activities is essential: concentration of force seems to be the key to destroying Exterminator ships. If a
Exterminator detachment can be hit with the combined fleets of two or more major powers then it should be easily destroyed. Piecemeal and
uncoordinated attacks however will merely weaken us and strengthen them.
The Martian Red Banner 7th fleet is currently forming an offensive battle group 'Fenris'. I would particularly be interested in making
contact with an Esteeler fleet commander so that my own Admiral can liase with him/her regarding the Exterminators operational in our area.
