This gives a brief summary of the reports received to date from the five Task Forces currently engaged.
The Imperial Scientific Survey Ships ESS PLUTO and HADES, now forming TF75, are currently surveying the destroyed colonies of 116AL and ULTRA. The purpose is to develop a procedure for calculating the date of the Berserker Life Incineration and eNvironment Destruction (BLIND) bombardment of a planet from its appearance and emissions. This will enable JAC to plot the probable path of the Berserkers through the non-aligned systems and thence indicate their possible origin(s).
TF73 will be joining TF75 and they will then be reorganized to give two Task Forces consisting of 1 SSSI paired with 1 warship each.
TF73 has been tasked with surveying the destroyed Esteeler Systems of Y24 and ASSTEK. TF75 has been tasked with surveying the destroyed Esteeler Systems of BRBURI and ETOWAM. These surveys are to give further calibration data for the BLIND DATE calculation.
The Martian and Esteeler Navies are requested to copy data from their own surveys of BLIND bombardment to Professor Gratermass and his assistant Ms Cilla Black, ESS PLUTO, who are co-ordinating the BLIND DATA programme.
