Scouts have reported no enemy activity at 674947 (Codename BLUE SPOT).
They have, however, found massive enemy activity at 681943 (Codename RED
SPOT)
Initial reports indicate the largest Exterminator base ever seem -
energy emissions consistent with something at least 4 or 5 times as
large as the Granyt base.
In system there is a lot of activity, in particular surface to orbital
movement around REDSPOT III seems to be very active.
Approx. 20 Vikings have been identified, and there are probably orbital
fortresses and surface defences, but it will take a little longer to set
up the flypasts to confirm the full extent of the defences.
I think that we could do with some help on this one. We've got 3 x BBI
with a fourth en route and two Earther CVI with three Esteeler CVI in
company. To take on 20 Vikings we're going to need quite a few more
capital ships, about three times what we currently have as a minimum.
In the meantime I'm going to move the fleet up to the M25 of RED SPOT to
observe and be ready to take action should any of the VIKINGS leave the
system.
