Low population, central highlands mostly jungle teeming with native species - mostly reptilian.
Main resorts are clustered in and around Threshold Bay, a large, sheltered region of sea.
Main attractions: Water sports, exploration and hunting in the hinterland, general entertainment (gambling, sex, drugs, unfeasibily loud music etc).
Permanently resident colonists provide service sector support for visitors (many off-worlders and government and imperial personnel use the resort region).
Also, some arable farming, and herding stations that farm indigenous 'megadons' for meat. These latter are mainly on the coastal plains.
Some shipping, mainly for foodstuffs from the farming regions being shipped to major cities. Recreational cruising in sailing ships is popular, although there are some risks from the very large species of icthyosaur that inhabits the coastal waters.
