Ship's Operations
The ship is modified to operate on-site high tech medical support. Four of the eight hab-pods contain intensive care facilities for a total of 20 patients, and two contain regeneration tanks.
In the main crew decks there are four operating theatres and an extensive
convalesance suite.
Casualties are transported using the Hospital Ship's Heavy Shuttle (100PAX)
- 'Wildebeest'.
Escape Pods: The Van Velzen is not fitted with escape pods.
